Minnesota West Libraries provide online access to many full text articles through the following databases. Most of these databases require off campus authentication.

    An academic multi-disciplinary database with full text access to over 4,700 publications. Information dates back to 1975 and is updated on a daily basis.
  • Alternative Health Watch Off-campus Log-in Required
    This database focuses on the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness. It offers full text articles for more than 180 international, and often peer-reviewed, journals and reports. In addition, there are hundreds of pamphlets, booklets, special reports, original research, and book excerpts.
  • Business Source Premier Off-campus Log-in Required
    This database includes full text access to over 7400 scholarly business journals and other sources. Information is updated daily.
  • CINAHL Plus with Full Text Off-campus Log-in Required
    Access to over 560 full text nursing and allied health journals. Includes over 600,000 full text articles.
  • Consumer Health Complete Off-campus Log-in Required
    Consumer Health Complete is designed to support the information needs of patients, and to foster an overall understanding of health-related topics. The database provides consumer-oriented content covering all areas of health and wellness from mainstream medicine to the many perspectives of complementary, holistic, and integrated medicine.
  • EBSCO MegaFILE Off-campus Log-in Required
    The EBSCO MegaFILE is comprised of the complete content and functionality of Academic Search Premier, MasterFILE Premier, Business Source Premier, and Regional Business News.
  • Educational Resources Information Center
    ERIC - the Education Resources Information Center - is an online digital library of education research and information. ERIC provides unlimited access to more than 1.4 million bibliographic records of journal articles and other education-related materials, with hundreds of new records added twice weekly. If available, links to full text are included.
  • Educator's Reference Complete Off-campus Log-in Required
    This collection of more than 1,100 periodicals and 200 reports covers multiple levels of education from preschool to college
  • Expanded Academic ASAP Off-campus Log-in Required
    A multi-disciplinary database with full text access to publications from 1980 - present. Updated daily.
  • General Science Collection Off-campus Log-in Required
    Contains over 200 journals covering the latest scientific developments in particle physics, advanced mathematics, nanotechnology, geology, and hundreds of other areas.
  • Health Source: Consumer Edition Off-campus Log-in Required
    This resource provides access to nearly 80 full text, consumer health magazines; full text for current, health-related pamphlets; and more than 130 health reference books including Merriam-Webster's Medical Desk Dictionary.
  • Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition Off-campus Log-in Required
    This resource provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines, including strong coverage of nursing and allied health. In addition, this database includes the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names.

  • Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center Off-campus Log-in Required
    Provides access to reference resources based on current event topics. Gives researchers the facts and the arguments on both sides of an issue. Includes statistics, government data, graphics, primary sources and much more.
  • Points of View Reference Center Off-campus Log-in Required
    This database covers controversial subjects and can be used as a guide for debating, developing arguments, and writing position papers.
  • Regional Business News Off-campus Log-in Required
    Includes 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires covering all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.
